Age and online access

Updated 29 October 2026 · Onside 0.1.38

Onside is intended and marketed for ages 16 and older.

16 and up: online functionality

Account creation asks for age before email and password. Players aged 16 and older can create an account, verify their email and use online functionality. Existing accounts complete age setup once if needed.

Under 16: offline modes only

The age screen explains this restriction before you continue. An under-16 answer stops online registration before account details are collected. Offline play remains available without an online account. No parental-consent process or parent-approved exception enables online access below age 16.

Privacy and account deletion

The game saves an age group rather than a date of birth. Read the privacy policy or request account or data deletion. Parents can contact onsidegame2026@gmail.com about information held by an older test account.
